Exceptional women in mining recognised in the Victorian Women in Resources Awards

The MCA 2024 Victorian Women in Resources Awards have been awarded to four exceptional Victorian women.

The awards recognise professional success, leadership, and advocacy of women working in the Victorian resources sector.

There was an extremely high calibre of applicants for the awards. Women are making a significant contribution to the industry through leadership and promotion of diversity in the resources sector.

Winners come from a broad range of backgrounds and pathways to the sector including community engagement, geoscience, and trades demonstrating mining’s diverse workforce.

The awards aim to provide a platform for women to be role models and encourage more women into the mining industry.
