Exceptional contributions recognised in the 2025 Victorian Women in Resources Awards
Five exceptional women have been recognised in the 2025 Victorian Women in Resources Awards for their outstanding leadership, career excellence and commitment to diversity and inclusion within the Victorian resources sector.
The awards are a prestigious honour now in their eight year to celebrate and empower women in Victorian mining and exploration.
This year’s awards showcase the achievements of women from a diverse range of roles in mining from technical roles in data and environmental science and law to operational positions.
Congratulations to award winners:
- Exceptional Woman in Resources – Georgia Denisenko, Director, Just Outcomes.
- Exceptional Young Woman in Resources – Ashleigh Mostert, Environment and Community Officer, Stawell Gold Mines.
- Outstanding Trade Operator or Technician – Jessica Mitrovic, Shotcrete Operator, Agnico Eagle Fosterville Gold Mine.
- Gender Diversity Champion – Dona Carter, Group Project Delivery Manager, Titeline Drilling.
- Technological Innovation Award – Malgorzata Sikora, Data Science Lead, Newmont Corporation.
These award recipients are leading by example through progressive diversity and inclusion initiatives and inspire the next generation of women to pursue rewarding careers in resources.
Victorian award winners will advance as finalists at the 2025 Women in Resources National Awards.
