Mark Rodgers

Mark Rodgers is the Managing Director of Newmont’s Asia Pacific business unit, having served recently as Newmont’s Managing Director for Papua New Guinea and Managing Director for Latin America and Caribbean.

Mark is a seasoned senior executive with 30 years of experience in the resources industry, including working for BHP and Rio Tinto. His last 15 years have been in senior operational and project roles.  Mark has developed a strong reputation for delivering positive business outcomes while serving on multiple boards and executive committees.

Raised in Scotland, he studied in Australia, gaining a Bachelor of Science in mineral processing (extractive metallurgy) and post-graduate qualifications in mineral economics.
