Exceptional Victorian Women In Resources Awards Open for Nominations 

MCA Victoria is excited to announce nominations for the 2024 Victorian Women in Resources Awards are now open.  

These awards shine a spotlight on the invaluable contributions of women within the resources sector, including those women promoting diversity and inclusion across Victoria’s minerals industry. 

By recognising champions in the sector, the awards aim to inspire women across Victoria to consider a career in the resources sector. 

Entering their eighth year, the awards are an important recognition of excellence in the sector in Victoria and proudly hosted by MCA Victoria. 

The awards feature six categories: 

Exceptional Woman in Victorian Resources 

Exceptional Young Woman in Victorian Resources 

Gender Diversity Champion in Victorian Resources 

Outstanding Victorian Trade, Operator or Technician 

Award for Technological Innovation 

Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance Award 

Applications are open to employees of companies or organisations working across the Victorian minerals industry, including mine equipment, technology and services and energy. 

Nominations close May 6th, after which finalists will be announced. Winners from each category will then progress to the national awards ceremony in September.
