Indigenous Land Use Agreements

MCA Victoria negotiated Regional Indigenous Land Use Agreements with Dja Dja Wurrung People and Wamba Wamba, Barapa Barapa and Wadi Wadi People on behalf of explorers operating in relevant areas.

The Explorer's Guide to Victoria's Regional ILUAs aims to provide a snapshot of Native Title and Indigenous Cultural Heritage laws and procedures in Victoria.  It also provides information about the Regional ILUAs.

The Dja Dja Wurung Regional ILUA and Dja Dja Wurung Deed of Assumption by applicant is available for reviewing.  The Wadj Wambi Barapa regional ILUA and Wadi Wamba Barapa Deed of Assumption by applicant is also available.

The Regional ILUA between the Dja Dja Wurrung People and MCA Victoria is no longer available for new applicants to sign onto via a Deed of Assumption following the implementation of the DDW Land Use Activity Agreement, effective from 24 October 2013.
